Well, AP EAMCET is conducted by Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University(JNTU) Kakinada to give students their dream seats in reputed colleges based on the merit list on behalf of state council of Higher Education. Basic Details- AP EAMCET Notification 2016 Exam Pattern :
- Name Of Examination: Andhra Pradesh Engineering Agriculture and Medical Common Entrance Test (EAMCET), 2016.
- Conducting Body: Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University(JNTU), Kakinada, Andhra Pradesh.
- Purpose Of Examination: Granting Admissions to Students in Engineering, Agriculture and Medical Colleges throughout the state.
- Applying Mode: Online
- Exam Type: State Level Entrance Examination(Multiple Choice Questions)
Age And Educational Qualification- Andhra Pradesh State EAMCET Notification 2016
- Age:
- Candidates wishing to apply for AP EAMCET Notification 2016 must be at least 17 years in age as on 31st December, 2015.
- Educational Qualification:
- Candidate must have passed 12th/Higher Secondary from a recognized board with mathematics or Biology and Physics & Chemistry or Biotechnology[Minimum percentage marks is 45% for general and 40% for SC/ST]
- Also, candidates who are appearing for intermediate examination in 2016 can also apply for EAMCET 2016.
Exam Pattern And Syllabus- Engineering Agriculture & Medical Common Entrance Test EAMCET Notification 2016
- Exam Pattern:
- 160 questions of Physics(40 Marks), Chemistry(40 Marks) and mathematics or biology(80 Marks) for 160 marks with a total duration of 3 hours.
- The exam paper will be set in both English and Telugu languages. However, only candidates appearing from Hyderabad can write EAMCET 2016 in Urdu Language.
- Minimum Percentage of marks for qualifying is 25% of Total Marks for General/UR Category Candidates, whereas for ST/SC Candidates there is no such qualifying marks.
- Syllabus(New):
- Physics: Physics world, units and measurements, elements of vectors, dynamics and kinematics, centre of mass, frictions and collisions, elasticity, gravitation and fluid mechanics.
- Chemistry: Atomic structure, classification of elements, chemical bonding, molecular structure, states of matters, periodicity in properties, solutions and electro chemistry.
- Mathematics: Numbers, trigonometry, algebra, probability, vector algebra, calculus, and co-ordinate geometry.
- Biology: Old Syllabus will be followed this time too. However, important topics are Plant Morpho, Reproduction in Higher Plants, Systematics, Genetics- Molecular Basis of Inheritance, Mineral Nutrients, Chemical Coordination, Biomolecules, Plantae, Animal Tissues, Cell, Monera and Photosynthesis.
Selection Process And Application Fee- AP EAMCET
- Selection Process:
- Those who are applying for EAMCET 2016 has to sit for a competitive written examination mostly consisting of Multiple Choice Questions based on the subject for which he/she applies.
- Once the results are out, Merit List will be used to grant admission to students in Counselling.
- Application Fee:
- For Engineering Entrance:250/-.
- For Agriculture and Medical: 250/.
- For Both Papers: 500/-.
