Qualification Applicants should be Graduate/PG in Engineering or Technical streams (B.Tech/B.E.)
- Applicants applying on the posts of Mechanical Engineer, Metallurgical Engineer, Civil Engineer, Electrical Engineer, Electronics Engineer, Chemical Engineer, Food-Technology Engineer and ‘Textile Engineer & Fiber Scientist’ should be graduate/PG in Engineering/Technology with 60% marks.
- Applicants applying in Microbiology discipline must also have equivalent degree in respective stream with 60% marks

Selection Criteria for BIS Recruitment 2018:
The procedure of selection of candidates is online test under BIS Recruitment examination, 2018 which the applicants will have to qualify. If a candidate qualifies the online test then BIS Recruitment Board will call him/her for interview. Travelling fare will be paid as per the law to the candidate called for interview. The shortlisted candidate should download call letter and carry it along to produce for interview under BIS Recruitment, 2018.
