How to check BSNL Broadband Data Usage Online
To start with, customer of BSNL Broadband services need to first register on BSNL Customer Selfcare Portal. This Selfcare Portal is useful to the customers in lots of ways. Customers can check the bills, broadband usage, file complaints, check status and can also change BSNL broadband password. Customer can also type 172.30.35.40 in address bar to fetch the data usage details like the amount of data left for the month.
Step 1
The Selfcare website is divided into four different zones. User need to first choose the zone before continuing to check the data usage. Choose the zone depending on the state you belong to. The four zones are:
East zone
East zone consists of Kolkata, Orissa, Bihar, West Bengal, Andaman and Nicobar, Assam, Jharkhand, North East.
West Zone
Maharashtra, Madhya Pradesh, Chattisgarh, Gujarat.
North Zone
Haryana, Punjab, UP (West), UP (East), Himachal Pradesh, Rajasthan, Jammu and Kashmir
South Zone
Andhra Pradesh Circle (Andhra Pradesh and Telangana), Chennai, Karnataka, Keralad, Tamil Nadu.
Step 2
- Now click on the registration link present in the page opened.
- Enter your customer id and telephone number in the specified fields.
- Fill the appropriate details and click on I agree button.
- On successful registration you will receive confirmation message and click on finish to complete it.
Step 3
- Now you need to login on BSNL Customer care portal by entering your user ID and password.
- The verification process will take some time and then as screen will appear in which you need to select My Subscribed Services and click on landline services.
- It will then show your broadband plan and its status.
Step 4
- Click on My Service button that is present on the left side. It will display full list of services on the page.
Step 5
- Click on My Broadband Unbilled Usage details which will display broadband summary details where you need to enter telephone number, from date and to date and click on Go option.
- On clicking Go, the broadband summary details like service name, billing account number, total volume MB, total upload volume, total download volume will be displayed on the screen. You can get your eyes on exact data usage from there.
- After knowing the data usage and other details make sure to logout of your account.
From now, anytime you want to check your data usage status, follow the same procedure.
