BSNL JAO Syllabus and pattern
- There will two set of papers for BSNL JAO competitive exam.
- All questions will be of objective type.
- Paper-I will carry 150 marks and the time allowed will be of 3 hours.
- Paper II will carry 300 marks and the time allowed will be of 3 hours.
- The total marks combining both the papers will be 450 marks.
- There is negative marking for every wrong answer.
PAPER-I:
General English:
You will have to cover the topics like Noun, Synonyms, Antonyms, Idioms, Phrases, Adverb, Verb, Usage and Vocabulary, Comprehension Passages and Grammar.
General Awareness/Aptitude:
You will have to cover the subjects like Indian Politics and Economy, Test of reasoning and Quantitative Technique, Current Affairs and reasoning.
PAPER II:
(I). Advanced Accounting:
Pay attention to the subjects like Cash and Fund Flow Statements, Final Accounts, Company Accounts and Shares and Debentures.
(II). Financial Management:
Pay attention to the subjects like Goals of Financial Management, Key Activities of Financial Management, Relationship of Finance to Accounting and Audit and Organization of Finance Function.
(III) Financial Management in Public Sector Enterprises:
Here you will have to go through the subjects like Capital Budgeting, Long Term Financing, Working Capital Management, Memorandum of Understanding and Financial Management and Control.
(IV) Financial Statements:
This segment will bring you the questions from the subjects of Balance Sheet, Profit, and Loss Accounts, Source and Usage of Final Statements.
(V) Auditing:
Thoroughly study Auditing; Techniques of Auditing Planning and Audit, Audit Programmes, Audit Process and Various Types of Audit.
(VI) Bare Acts:
You have to peep back to the history of BSNL with the topics like Companies Act 1956 (with amendments), Contract Act, Partnership Act, Payment of Gratuity Act and Consumer Protection Act among others.
