CBSE Central Teachers Eligibility Test February 2016 Recruitment-Eligibility Criteria:
Well, there are two posts for this recruitment, viz. Primary Stage Teachers and Elementary Stage Teachers. So, the eligibility criteria for each of this post is different. Yes! So, here comes the eligibility criteria for Primary Teachers Post:

For Primary Teachers( Classes 1 To 5):
- General Category Candidates: Candidates should at least have acquired a senior secondary certificate having obtained at least 50 per cent marks(not less than that, and even 49.9% marks will not be accepted). Also, the candidates should have passed or should be appearing in the final year of 2-year diploma in elementary education.
- For Reserved Category Candidates: The candidates should have acquired a certificate in senior secondary exam (or its equivalent), having acquired at least 45 per cent marks. Also, the candidates should have passed or should be appearing in the final year of 2-year diploma in elementary education in accordance with the NCTE (Recognition Norms and Procedure), Regulations.
- Additional Requirement: The candidates should have passed or should be appearing in the final year of four-year Bachelor of Elementary Education (B.El.Ed).
- Note: If You have a graduate degree, then also you are eligible to appear for this post.

For Elementary Teachers Post(Classes 6 To 8):
- General Category Candidates: Candidates should at least have acquired a Graduate degree, and at least 50 per cent marks(not less than that, and even 49.9% marks will not be accepted) is mandatory. Also, the candidates should have passed or should be appearing in the final year of 2-year diploma in elementary education. Also, the candidates should have Bachelor Of Education(BEd.) Degree( Special Education) of at least 1year.
- For Reserved Candidates: Candidates should at least have acquired a Graduate degree, and at least 45 per cent marks(not less than that, and even 44.9% marks will not be accepted) is mandatory. Also, the candidates should have passed or should be appearing in the final year of 2-year diploma in elementary education. Also, the candidates should have Bachelor Of Education(BEd.) Degree(Special Education) of at least 1year.
- Note: Also, he/she must have certificate of 4 years course in BEd./Bsc Ed./BAEd. If you are studying in final year of all these courses, then also you are eligible to apply for this course.
To Be Noted About Eligibility Criteria For CTET February 2016:

For Degree course in Teacher Education:
- If you have done diploma/degree course in Teacher education, then it must be approved by National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE). Yes! However, if you have done diploma in Education (Special Education) and B.ED (Special Education), the it must be recognized by Rehabilitation Council of India (RCI).
