The notification for CMAT 2016 has finally been released for the Academic year 2016-2017. The AICTE (All India Council for Technical Education) performs an admission test for admissions in PG (post graduate) management programs at institutes and/or universities approved by AICTE.
A public notice for the CMAT Test 2016 has been issued by AICTE. Candidates preparing for the same can now apply for the CMAT 2016 Exam before the deadline.
The CMAT Exam is conducted twice by AICTE ever since 2015, generally in the month of September and February. However, it has now been decided that the test will be conducted only once and it will happen online from the academic year 2016-17.
A CMAT 2016 Advertisement has been published by AICTE regarding the exams; according to which the CMAT 2016 exam is likely to be conducted in the month of January 2016. The online registration dates and further details will be notified officially. For the Common Management Aptitude test, a separate notification will come soon.
The Common Management Admission Test is an exam conducted at a national level. The CMAT exams started in the year 2012 and later on based upon the score, candidates are given admissions in the PG courses throughout India in the best of business schools and institutes.
Eligibility criteria for Common Management Admission Test 2016
Eligibility criteria for CMAT 2016 with reference to age, education, etc, are stated below:
- Graduation in any discipline must be completed with minimum marks of 50%.
- Candidates who are currently pursuing their final year graduation are also eligible for applying in the exam.
- Any eligible Indian citizen, PIOS and foreign nationals as well as NRI’s are eligible to apply for the exam.

- Click on the option for self registration
- Fill in the details.
- Now, submit the same and you will receive a password via your email followed by an SMS for successful registration.
- Log in with the username and password.
- Make the payment with whatever options available.
- Submit it and get a print out for future leads.

Admit cards
The admit cards will be available for download on the official website. They will be informed about the release of admit cards via mail and/or Emails. Admit card can be downloaded with the help of username and password.
