CSIR UGC NET 2016
The Council of Scientific and Industrial Research (CSIR) has recently issued a notification to apply for the UGC NET exam 2016. The exam is scheduled to be held on 18th December, 2016. The online application commencement started from 16th August, 2016 and the last date for commencing online application is 9th September, 2016. So, eligible and interested candidates are hereby said that they can apply for the exam on or before the last date of application submission. The candidates who got qualified in the exam will be appointed as Junior Research Fellowships (JRF) NET and as Lecturers to teach subjects like Science and Technology. Eligibility Criteria to apply for CSIR UGC NET 2016
Age limit
The maximum age limit of the candidates should be 28 years. There is upper age relaxation for various category candidates. There is no age relaxation for lectureship.
Educational qualification
Candidates who had a four-year BS program or BE/B.Tech/B.Pharma/Integrated BS-MS/MBBS/BSc/M.Sc or equivalent degree or students enrolled in Integrated MS-PhD program with minimum aggregate of 55% marks for General and OBC-NCL candidates, 50% for SC/ST, Physically and visually handicapped can apply for the exam.
Likewise, candidates who have enrolled for M.Sc or just completed had any above degree can also apply for the exam under Result Awaited category.
Candidates who had a degree in Bachelor’s from any discipline will be eligible to apply for the exam only he/she is enrolled for Ph.D/Integrated Ph.D program within two years of time.

CSIR UGC NET Application Form 2016
The online application commencement was started from 16th August, 2016. Candidates need to apply for the exam on or before the last day through online mode. The application fee is accepted either through online or offline.
Exam fee
- The application fee for general category candidates is R.1000/-
- The application fee for OBC-NCL category candidates is R.500/-
- The application fee for SC/ST/Physically Handicapped category candidates is R.250/-
CSIR UGC NET Admit Card 2016
The admit cards will be made available from the first week of December in the official site. Candidates have to download the admit cards and have to carry them to the exam.
CSIR NET Selection Procedure 2016
CSIR NET is a national level entrance exam on chemical sciences, earth atmospheric ocean, life science, physical science, mathematical sciences and planetary sciences. The exam is conducted twice in a year. The merit candidates of NET exam will be posted into the posts mentioned.
CSIR UGC NET Syllabus and Exam Pattern 2016
