Prime Minster Narendra Modi on Saturday has launched ‘Smart City Projects’ in Pune. Modi has launched 84 projects including 14 for Pune with an overall investment of Rs. 2,000 crore.
Jayalalitha writes to Modi to get fishermen released from Sri Lanka
Tamil Nadu chief minister Jayalalitha has written a letter to Modi asking to get fishermen released from Sri Lanka. Five fishermen have been arrested in mid-sea by Sri Lankan Navy. Citing this issue, Jayalalitha said that it is an “inhumane” act and written a letter to Modi to get fishermen released from Sri Lanka.

A loan of $500 million sanctioned to build the river bridge in Bihar
Asian Development Bank on Friday said that it has approved $500 million loan for the construction of India’s longest river bridge on Ganga in Bihar. The bridge will be 9.8 km long, which provides vital transport links between the northern and southern parts of the state and with neighboring country Nepal.

Nepal put a ban on working in Afghanistan for its citizens after 13 of its citizens were killed and six were injured in the suicide attack in Kabul. The citizens of Nepal used to work as security guards in the Canadian embassy in Kabu, who were killed in an attack by Talibans.

Anas made the win just at 45.40 seconds and qualified to the Olympics. He has become the 21st Indian track and field athlete to qualify for the upcoming Rio Olympics. Dutee Chand made it to Rio Olympics with her 100m run 36-year-old Dutee Chand said won the 100m run race and made it to Rio Olympics. Dutee Chand made it by 11.33 seconds and registered her name in the win list. After her win, she said that “if I did not qualify today that fraction of a second would have bothered me for the next four years.” “It encouraged me more, and gave me hope that 11.32 was definitely possible for me to run.” Hillary Clinton regains double-digit lead over Trump Hillary Clinton has regained her double-digit lead over her rival Donald Trump as per the Ipsos poll results. The poll shows that 46.6 percent of US voters are favor to Ms Clinton whist 33.3 percent have chosen Mr Trump over Clinton and 20 percent of them did not go with either of them.
