Film festival on wild live to begin in Shimla tomorrow
A three-day woodpecker environment and wild life film festival will be held at Historic Gaiety Theater from tomorrow in Shimla. The festival is being organized by WWF-India in association with CMSR foundation. The festival has a supporting shoulder from Himachal Pradesh’s Department of Language, Art and Culture and Department of Forest.
Center to allot Rs. 400 crore for developing airport in UP
The Centre government issued an official statement stating that it will allot Rs. 400 crore for developing airports at Agra, Allahabad, Kanpur, and Bareilly in Uttar Pradesh. Along with these four cities in UP, the centre will also focus on developing no-frills airports in Meerut, Faizabad, and Moradabad. The state government has already allotted 200 crore to develop airport at Kushinagar.

World’s largest Charkha (spinning wheel) was disclosed at terminal 3 of Indra Gandhi International Airport, Delhi. At the unveiling ceremony of the Charkha, union MSME minister Kalraj Mishra addressed the gathering and said that Charkha is a symbol of Gandhian values and shows government’s priority towards khadi and village industries.
