PUNJAB POLICE CONSTABLE WRITTEN TEST ADMIT CARD 2016
As the Punjab Police has announced the opening for 7416 vacancies for the posts of Police Constable, a large number of candidates applied to attend the examination. Candidates from all the regions of Punjab have applied for the examination. The vacancy is divided into two categories. Out of 7146 vacancies, 4915 vacancies id for the district police cadre and 2501 vacancies for the posts of armed police in the region of Hoshiarpur, Rupnagar, Amritsar, Sangrur, Bathinda, Fazlika, Kapurthala, Pathankot, Firozpur, Ludhiana, Patiala.
A large number of candidates filled the online application form to attend the written test for the 7146 posts of Police constable. To attend the examination, the candidates has to receive the admit cards. And the Punjab Police Examination Board will issue the admit cards and will upload on the official website. Candidates can easily download the admit cards from the website. The admit card will have all the information like candidate’s name, roll number, center number, center name, examination date, etc.

ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS
- Age Limit: A candidates should be between 18 to 28 Years.
- Age Relaxation: Category wise age relaxation is applicable. There is a relaxation of 5 years for the OBC, SC, and the ST caste candidates.
- Ex-Servicemen Relaxation: A relaxation of 3 years is given to the candidates that belong to the Ex-Servicemen category.
- Education Qualifications: Candidate who wants to apply for the examination has to complete the 12th
- Physical Standards: 5 feet 7 inches for male candidates and 5 feet 3 inches for female candidates.
SYLLABUS FOR THE EXAMINATION
Candidates have to appear in the examination for the following subjects: General Knowledge, Reasoning, Mathematics, History of Punjab, geography and culture.
