National Council for Teacher Education is going to conduct Haryana Teacher Eligibility Test (HTET) for aspirants of the state soon. The authority is going to recruit merit and talented candidates as teachers. It will appoint the shortlisted candidates into various posts. It is all set to recruit eligible teachers to fill in the vacancies in the state for which it is going to conduct HTET exam. HTET exam is conducted to shortlist the best and talented candidates for teaching profession. National Council for Teacher Education every year very prestigiously conducts HTET exam to the aspirants of the state and shortlists the best candidates based on their merit shown in the written exam. This year too, it is getting ready to conduct HTET written exam to shortlist the candidates for various teacher vacancies in government schools of the state. It is going to recruit primary and secondary school teachers by conducting HTET exam. HTET is a state level entrance exam for the candidates who wish to work as government teachers.
Eligibility Criteria for HTET 2017
In order to appear for HTET exam candidates need to satisfy certain eligibility criteria set by the authority that mainly include educational qualification and age limit. Applicants of HTET exam should be citizen of India and should secure a minimum of 50% marks in Senior Secondary or equivalent exam. They should have passed or appeared in the final exam of the 2 year Diploma in Elementary Education. Candidates should have passed senior secondary exam with minimum of 45% marks and have cleared or passed 2 year Diploma in elementary education or candidates should have cleared the senior secondary with 50% marks and appeared for or passed the 4 year Bachelor of Elementary education or have passed 2 year Diploma in special education can also apply for the HTET exam.
The age limit of the applicants should be a minimum of 21 years as of the examination year. The application fee is different for different category candidates. For general category candidates, the application fee is Rs. 600 and for SC/ST/disabled candidates, application fee is Rs. 300.

HTET 2017 Admit Card
The admit card for HTET 2017 exam will be issued by the exam conducting authority through the official website of the authority. It is said that the admit card will be made available for the students via the official website of HTET from 3rd week of January, 2017. It is mandatory to carry admit card to the exam hall. So, candidates are advised to download the admit card on or before the exam date and keep it safe until the exam is completed.

As soon as the exam is completed, the focus gets shifted to result release. Students can check the result of HTET exam 2017 by visiting the official site of the authority. Just by entering the details like roll number candidates can fetch the results in no time.
