IBPS Clerk Salary Structure Package After Revision
IBPS every year conducts various exams to recruit staff for various positions. This year too it has issued a notification inviting applications for the post of IBPS Clerk. Many aspiring bank clerk applicants would like to know how much will be IBPS clerk salary in hand, what are the IBPS clerk scale and how much will be the IBPS clerk salary package. The salary of IBPS clerk had been revised so every body is curious to know what will be IBPS Clerk salary after revision.
The pay scale of clerks in both public and private sector banks is same. Today we have come up with clear details on the basic salary, dearness allowance, house rent allowance, revised salary etc.

The basic pay in banking sector for the entry level bank clerk is Rs. 8000, dearness allowance is 8000, and house rent allowance is 800. The total salary for a clerk is approximately Rs.17225 per month.

Basic pay
On successful completion of one year, BS will get one increment of Rs.400/-. By the end of the year you will get 3 increments and 2nd year increment will be 500 for next 3 years.
Dearness allowance
DA is changed every 3 months. It is changed as per Consumer Price Index (CPI). The DA will rise or go down depending on CPI.
House Rent Allowance
It is provided depending on the place you are posted. If you are posted to metro cities HRA will be 8.50% of basic pay. If you are posted to cities with population more than 5 lakhs, HRA will be 7.50% of basic pay. If you are posted in any other metro cities, HRA will be 6.50% of Basic pay.
Clerk Salary after Revision in 10th Bipartite Settlement
- After the 10th Bipartite Wage Settlement of 2015, the pay scale of the clerk will see a hike from Rs.21,339 to Rs.23,117. There will be 20% increment to the basic pay and the increment may even get 25%.
- If IBA approves 20% increment, final basic bay will be Rs.15,374, which makes the DA and HRA to 38.80% and the total gross salary received by the clerk will be Rs.21,339/-.
- If IBA approves 25% increment, final basic bay will be Rs.16,015, which makes the total gross salary received by the clerk to be Rs.22,228/-.
- If IBA approves 30% increment, final basic bay will be Rs.16,655, which makes the total gross salary received by the clerk to be Rs.23,117/-.
- If revision takes place, clerk will receive a salary of Rs.23,117/- instead of Rs.21,339.
