Indira Gandhi center for atomic research (IGCAR) has released a notification for the recruitment of trade apprentice.
IGCAR was established in 1971, under the department of atomic energy which comes under Government of India.
The center is engaged in brad based multi-disciplinary program of scientific research and advanced engineering directed towards the development of fast breeder reactor technology.

Last date to apply online –24th April 2019.
Eligibility–
Age limit – Not less than 16 years and up-to 22 years.
Age relaxation –
5 years for SC/ST
3 years for OBC
10 years for PWD
The date for determining age limit shall be the last date of receipt of application.
Qualification –
10th passed under 10+2 system of education or its equivalent. ITI certificate of not less than 2 years.

IGCAR, Kalpakkam, Tamilnadu.

Turner- 5
Machinist –5
Electrician – 25
Welder (gas /electric) –7
Electronic mechanic – 10
Instrument mechanic –12
Draughtsman(mechanical and civil) – 10
Mechanic refrigeration and air conditioning – 8
Carpenter –4
Mechanical machine tool maintenance– 2
Plumber– 2
Mason/civil ministry – 2
Book binder – 1
PASAA (Programming and system administration assistant) – 7
Selection procedure –
Selection will be made through interview.
The date, time and venue will be informed to the candidate later, by e-mail.
Eligible and registered candidates should have following documents at the time of interview –
- Online application form with attested recent passport size photo.
- Original and photocopy of –
- Birth certificate
- Community certificate
- All education certificate
- ITI mark sheet
- AADHAR card
- Proof of mother’s name
- Confirmation copy of apprentice registration through apprenticeship.gov.in and
- Experience certificate .
