IGNOU Bed Application Form
The application forms are available on the website and candidates have to download the application forms from the website and have to fill the application form with all the details. The application form should reach the concerned regional centres on or before 9th September 2016. Candidates who are interested in the field of teaching can apply for the entrance examination.
Bachelor of Education (B.Ed) Programme is a two year programme for the candidates who want to make their career in teaching. If someone wants to extend the period, then 5 years is the maximum period. IGNOU offers a two year distance Bed degree. In this course candidates will get all the details about the teaching facilities, learning process, experiences, school management, educational evaluation, etc.
Details for IGNOU BED Entrance Exam Online Form
Candidates have to fill the form and have to send the form either by post or in the counter. If a candidate sends the form by posts he or she have to pay an application fee of Rs. 1050 and if a candidate submit the form in the counter then they have to pay an application of Rs. 1000.
NOTE:
- Candidates who want to send the application form by posts have to send the amount in DD payable at IGNOU at the concerned regional centers.
- Application form submitted after the last date will be cancelled
- Get a printout of the application form before submitting
- Don’t overwrite in the application form. It will be rejected if any overwriting is witnessed.
Eligibility Criteria for IGNOU BEd Entrance Form 2017
To apply for the IGNOU BEd Admission 2017, candidates have to follow certain eligibility criteria. Find the details below.
- Candidates should be a graduation degree or master degree holder with minimum 50% mark in any stream, i.e. science, arts or commerce; Engineering, etc. can apply for the test. A 5% marks in minimum eligibility will be provided to SC/ST/OBC (Non-creamy layer)/PWD candidates as per the rules of the Central Govt.
- Trained in-service teachers in elementary education
- Candidates who have completed a NCTE recognized teacher education programme
- Reservation to Kashmiri Migrants and war widow candidates will be provided as per the University Rules
- Master’s’ Degree awarded without a first degree is not accepted for purpose of Academic Studies in IGNOU
Details on the Entrance Test
A candidate who fulfils the eligibility criteria and has filled the application form and sent it to the regional office will be able to appear in the entrance examination. The entrance examination will be conducted on 23rd of October 2016 on the centers. Candidates will have to download the Hall Tickets from the website www.ignou.ac.in. Candidates will get the admission to the Bed programme on the basis of the marks secured in the entrance test. It will be a complete merit based selection. The total number of seats in each PSC is 50.
Medium: The examination will be conducted on both the languages, i.e. English and Hindi.
Documents Needed for the Counselling Round
After the successful completion of the entrance test, candidates will be selected according to their merit and will be called for the counselling round. Candidates will have to produce certain documents at the time of the counselling. Please find the list of documents needed during the counselling.
