IGNOU M.Ed Admission : IGNOU abbreviated as Indira Gandhi National Open University has invited the online and offline applications from the candidates across all over the country for the admission in to its Master of Education (M.Ed) programme for the academic year of 2016. The other disciplines the university offers the admission to the M.Ed discipline every year that means during the month of January session. The IGNOU master of education programme under the school of education (SOE) and has been recognized recognised and  jointly developed by the National Council for Teacher Education and the Distance Education Council(DEC).

Eligibility Criteria for IGNOU 2016 M.Ed application form

Educational qualification:

• Candidates need to score 55 per cent of minimum aggregate in graduation level

• Candidates those who are with the experience in teaching field for 2 years in full time in a government recognised primary or secondary school

• Candidates those who belongs to the category of SC, ST, OBC, War Widow or PD will have a relaxation of marks of 5 per cent as per the rules of the ROI

Age Limitation:

Applicants must have the minimum age of 21 years

Application Fee:

• All the candidates should pay the application fee of Rs: 1050/-

• Application should pay in the form of DD in the favour of IGNOU and it payable at New Delhi or any other city.

Process of Applying Offline: IGNOU M.Ed Admission Form 2016

• Candidates can get the application forms from the official site or regional centres or through post

• Fill up the details which is mandatory in the application form with blue or black pen without any mistakes

• After that attach a passport size photograph to the application

• Then pay the application through DD format in favour of IGNOU

• Then finally send the filled application form through speed post or registered post to the “ Regional Centre Concerned Master of Education Programs”

Process of Online Application Form:

• Go to the official portal of the organisation i.e., www.ignou.ac.in

• Click on the relevant link of application form and click on the apply button

• Candidate need to create login by providing the details by using the log in details you can open the M.Ed application form

• Then fill up the online application form without any mistakes

• After that pay the application fee
• Then click on the submit button to submit the form and take a print for future reference.
