IGNOU OPENMAT Notification 2016 Application Form

Indira Gandhi National Open University – IGNOU is organizing OPENMAT Examination 2015 for aspirants seeking admission in various PG Courses. IGNOU OPENMAT (Management Aptitude Test) will be conducted two times (IGNOU OPENMAT XXXIX and XXXIX) in a year. The last date of application of IGNOU OPENMAT XXXIX was over, but interested candidate can apply for the IGNOU OPENMAT XXXIX. The application form for IGNOU OPENMAT XXXVIX is available till 15th December, 2015. Interested and eligible candidates can utilise this opportunity and apply for IGNOU OPENMAT 2016 Exam in from 15th Dec onwards. Also, the examination date of IGNOU OPENMAT XXXIX is released 7th February, 2016. The IGNOU OPENMAT Examination will be held in various examination centres across India.

IGNOU OPENMAT January 2016 Eligibility

Candidates must have minimum educational qualification of Graduate Degree in any discipline. There is no age limit to apply for IGNOU Open University courses. Interested candidate who wants to apply for the IGNOU OPENMAT 2016 need the “Student Handbook and Prospectus” which is provided to the candidate by the regional centres of IGNOU but the candidates need to sent the DD of Rs 1050/- to the Director (SSC) IGNOU, Maidan Garhi, New Delhi- 11068. The prospectus contains application form. By filling the application and attaching the requisite documents and by sending it thru register / ordinary post candidates can apply to IGNOU OPENMAT Examination 2015.

IGNOU OPENMAT 2016 Application Form

Interested and eligible candidates can send applications to IGNOU from 15th December 2015. The last date to apply for IGNOU OPENMAT XXXIX is not announced yet. The IGNOU OPENMAT XXXIX examination falls in next year, that is 07th February 2016. Hence candidates can start their preparation to clear the examination. The IGNOU OPENMAT Exam contains 4 sections, English, Reasoning, Aptitude and General Knowledge. IGNOU OPENMAT January 2016 Eligibility

Graduation in any discipline with 50 percent marks for general category / 45 percent for reserved category, with 3 years managerial / supervisory / professional experience (or),
Professional Degree with 50 percent marks in Engineering / Medicine / Chartered Accountancy (ICAI) / Cost and Works Accountancy (ICWA) / Company Secretaryship (ICSI) / Law.
Clearance of OPENMAT conducted by IGNOU.

Age Limit

There is no age bar.

Reservation

The University provides for reservation of seats for Scheduled Castes (SC), Scheduled Tribes (ST), OBC and Physically Handicapped (PH) learners as per the Govt. of India rules.
There would be some relaxation in qualifying standards for SC / ST categories and female applicants.

How to Apply for IGNOU OPENMAT Exam 2016 :

Interested candidate who wants to apply for the IGNOU OPENMAT 2016 need the “Student Handbook and Prospectus” which is provided to the candidate by the regional centres of IGNOU but the candidates need to sent the DD of Rs 1050/- to the Director (SSC) IGNOU, Maidan Garhi, New Delhi- 11068.

This “Student Handbook and Prospectus” contains the application form (I and II). It is required for the applicants to fill the form (I) only.

Fill up the form carefully followed by the instructions mentioned in the form itself and finally send the filled form in the envelope received along with the ‘Student Handbook and Prospectus’ to the official address of the IGNOU given below either by speed post or registered post.
