IIM CAT examination syllabus will be announced by the organization with all topics which includes in the CAT examination. CAT examination will conduct for two sessions and examination paper will be for three sections such as Quantitative ability, verbal ability. Data interpretation. Whereas Quantitative ability syllabus includes Arithmetic reasoning, Mensuration, modern mathematics, Algebra, Geometry, Higher Maths, Number system, Modern mathematics, Trigonometry sub topics includes HCF, LAM, Arithmetic progression, Arithmetic mean, Geometric Progression, Harmonic mean, Median, mode, BODMAS, Ratio and proportion, Percentage, Average, Partnership, Time speed distance, Work and time ,Profit and loss, Installment and payments, Partnership, Clocks, Work & time, Pipe and cisterns, Lines, Angles, triangles, sphere’s rectangles, cubes, cone.
Out of 50 questions, Quantitative ability and data interpretation and 30 questions from quantitative ability area.Indian Institute of management (IIM) has recently circulated CAT notification and also provided CAT examination pattern. Syllabus, exam topics, etc. Candidates who are dreaming to get admission in Top colleges in Business management through CAT can proceed to apply for notification and then plan with good time table and proper schedule for better preparation. Application process for CAT examination will starts from 6th August 2015 to 20th September 2015 Admit cards will be available from October 2015 and Examination will going to conduct in the month of November 2015. CAT examination is purely online test on computer and candidates need to go through all the questions compulsory, there is no option for skipping questions. Only one question will appear for every time so candidates need to utilize the time during the time of examination.
