Pipelines division of Indian Oil Corporation Limited has announced the recruitment of vacancies for Engineering Assistant posts for Electrical, Mechanical, T&I and Technical Attendant-I posts in regards to IOCL Recruitment 2018. Candidates eligible for the posts can apply for IOCL Recruitment 2018 through the online application form from 26th December 2017 to 15th January 2018. Engineering Assistant (Electrical): 7 posts.
Engineering Assistant (Mechanical): 7 posts.
Engineering Assistant (T &I): 8 posts.
Technical Attendant-I: 10 Posts.
Posts according to the regions:
Northern Region Pipeline: 7 posts.
Eastern Region Pipeline: 18 posts.
Southern Eastern Region Pipelines: 2 posts.
Western Region Pipelines: 3 posts.
Southern Region Pipelines: 2 posts.
Age limit: Age of the candidates for IOCL Recruitment 2018 should be 18 years to 26 years as on 26th December 2017. Application of age relaxation is by five years for the candidates belonging to SC/ST and three years for Other Backward Classes (only applicable for candidates belonging to Non-Creamy layer) according to the rules.
Educational Qualification for IOCL Recruitment 2018:
Educational Qualification for Engineering Assistant (Electrical) Grade-IV as per IOCL Recruitment 2018 –
- 3 years full-time Diploma course / two years of Diploma through lateral entry after a minimum of one year of ITI) in the branch of Electrical & Electronics Engineering or Electrical Engineering from an institute that is recognized by the Government.
- A minimum mark in the percentage that a candidate needs to have is 55%.
Educational Qualification for Engineering Assistant (Mechanical) Grade-IV as per guidelines by IOCL Recruitment 2018 –
- 3 years Diploma or 2 years after a minimum of one year of ITI through lateral entry in Automobile Engineering or Mechanical Engineering from an Institute that is recognized by the Government.
- A minimum mark in the percentage that a candidate needs to have is 55%.
Educational qualification for Engineering Assistant (T&I) Grade-IV as per IOCL Recruitment 2018 –
- 3 years of Diploma or 2 years of Diploma through lateral entry right after minimum of 1 year duration of ITI in Electrical & Electronics Engineering or Electrical Engineering or Instrumentation & Control Engineering or Electronics Engineering or Electronic & Radio Communication Engineering or Instrumentation & Process Control Engineering from an institute that is recognized by the Government.
- Minimum marks in the percentage that a candidate needs to have are 55%.
Pass marks for ST/SC/PWD candidates for all the post reserved for them apply to the IOCL Recruitment 2018.
Educational qualification for Technical Attendant-1 Grade-10 as per IOCL Recruitment 2018 –
- Candidate should have a minimum passing mark in 10th Class with passing marks in ITI in the respective trade form an institute that is recognized by the Government.
- Candidate needs to possess National Trade Certificate (NTC) / Trade Certificate issued by NCVT/ SCVT.
Selection procedure of IOCL Recruitment 2018
Candidates will have to appear Written Test and Skill Proficiency/Physical Test. The test for IOCL Recruitment 2018 shall be held tentative dates of 11th February 2018 (Sunday).
Application Fee for IOCL Recruitment 2018
Fees for Candidates belonging to OBC and General category is 100/- which will only be collected through online payment mode that has to be done through SBI collect.

Indian Oil Corporation Limited is all psyched-up to release the official notification welcoming applications for the scholarships. IOCL every year provides scholarships to the students who are pursuing their MBA/Engineering/ITI Diploma/MBBS etc. Interested and eligible candidates can apply for the scholarships by visiting the official site of IOCL. The online applications will be available in the official site of IOCL shortly. Candidates need to apply for the scholarships on or before the last date. The applications that are submitted after the last date won’t be accepted by the authority. The last date of the application submission will end in October, 2016.
Before applying for the scholarships provided by IOCL candidates need to check the eligibility criteria. It is very important for the candidates to know how to apply for the scholarships. IOCL announces scholarships for the students studying in various courses every year to encourage them financially. It gives supporting hand to the merit students by providing financial aid. It is a very good initiative taken by IOCL and many students have accepted scholarships till date. The scholarships will not be provided to every student. IOCL follows certain criteria to sanction scholarships to the students. The scholarship amount varies from course to course. Here are the details for you.
For 10+/ITI students, IOCL will sanction scholarship of Rs.1000/- per month for 2 years.
For Engineering students, IOCL will sanction scholarship of Rs.3000/- per month for 4 years.
For MBBS students, IOCL will sanction scholarship of Rs.3000/- per month for 4 years.
For MBA students, IOCL will sanction scholarship of Rs.3000/- per month for 2 years.
Eligibility criteria
Academic qualification
Students studying courses in various streams from schools/institutes/colleges that are recognized by AICTE/MCI/State Board/State Technical Education Board/ICSE/ISC/CBSE are eligible to apply for scholarships provided by IOCL.
10+: Bonafide students in 11th standard/1st year intermediate course or equivalent course
ITI: Bonafide students in 1st year of 2 years of ITI course
Engineering and MBBS: Bonafide students in the first year of Engineering/MBBS degree courses.
MBA: Bonafide students in the first year of 2 years post graduation course in Business Administration/Management.
Age limit
The age of the candidate who is applying for the scholarship of IOCL should be between 15 to 30 years. The upper age relaxation is applicable for reserved category candidates.
For SC/ST candidates the age relaxation is up to 5 years
For OBC candidates the age relaxation is up to 3 years
For persons with disability the age relaxation is up to 10 years
Annual Parental Income
The joint annual income of the family of the student should not exceed Rs. 100000/-. In case of tie, the preference to provide scholarships will be given to those students who family income is up to Rs. 60,000/-.
Students need to submit the income certificate of the parent/guardian at the time of application submission which is to be issued from appropriate civil authorities of State/UTs/Central Governments.
