Council of Architecture – COA has released the NATA ( National Aptitude Test in Architecture) Notification recently. Council of Architecture is authorized to conduct the NATA Examination 2015 in India . The NATA Notification 2015 has been released for students seeking admission in Under Graduate Courses in Architecture. Candidates aspiring to join 5 years of B. Arch programme in various reputed colleges in India can attend for the NATA Examination 2015. Candidates need to secure good score in the NATA 2015 to get admission into B.Arch programmes. Candidates will be considered for admission on the basis of NATA Merit and Academic Merit on 50 : 50 Ratio. Candidates shortlisted in the COA Counselling are eligible for admission in B. Arch programme in various government, government-aided, private unaided, university department, deemed universities in India.
NATA 2015 Eligibility Criteria
Students who have passed their 10th Class / SSC from any Board / School/ Institute are eligible to appear for NATA 2015 Examination. Students those who have passed their 10+2 / Intermediate with one of the subject as Mathematics having score of 50% and above are eligible to join for B,Arch programme. Students attempted the NATA Examination and secured good score, it will be valid for a period of 2 years for consideration. Candidates get admission in B.Arch programme based on NATA Score and Academic Merits. There is no possibility of direct admission in B.Arch.
NATA Registration / Application Form
NATA 2015 Online Application Form/ Registration: Students interested in applying NATA 2015 can apply online at website , http://www.nata.in from March 30, 2015 to August 19, 2015. Students need to pay requisite application fee of Rs. 1250.00 either through credit card / debit card / net banking or the candidate can generate the challan for depositing the payment through cash in any of the branches of the ICICI Bank all over India.
Processing Charges for Various Cards :
- Domestic Multiple Bank Net Banking Payment Gateway: – Rs.15 per transaction
- Domestic Debit Card:- 0.75% of the NATA Fees plus service tax as applicable
- Domestic Credit Card:-1.25% of the NATA Fee plus service tax as applicable
- Collection through PAN India ICICI Branches in cash (through challan) : Rs.30 per transaction
- For International Credit Card / Debit Card the charges may apply as per the policy of the Bank.
NATA 2015 Exam Pattern
NATA 2015 will be having two papers.
Paper 1 : Drawing Test
Paper 2 : Aesthetic Sensitivity Test
Paper 1 Drawing Test :
Drawing Test is conducted for the duration of 2 hours. The Paper is conducted mainly on Drawing subject. Students has to answer 3 questions out of given number of questions. Check the NATA Drawing syllabus details from the NATA Notification 2015.
Paper 2 Aesthetic Sensitivity Test :
This is Computer based examination conducted with 40 multiple choice questions ( MCQs). Candidates will be having 60 to 90 seconds of time to answer each question. It could be decided by the level of complexity of the question. Candidates can check the NATA Aesthetic Sensitivity Test Syllabus 2015 from the NATA Notification.
