NEET Application Form 2017 Apply Online @ cbseneet.nic.in : Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) is going to conduct NEET exam 2017 in the month of May this year. It has issued the notification for NEET exam 2017 on 31st January 2017. Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) conducts National Eligibility Cum Entrance Test (NEET) every year to provide admissions to eligible candidates into various medical courses like Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) and Bachelor of Dental Surgery (BDS). Aspirants of the country who wish to go for higher studies take up this NEET exam every year. CBSE Delhi is the one that is responsible to conduct NEET 2017 to the eligible students of the country.
Last year, CBSE has scheduled the NEET exam on 24th July. This year as per the official notification released by CBSE, the NEET exam 2017 will be held on 7th May 2017. The exam will be held in diverse centers of the country for which lakhs contenders will apply and appear. As the notification is out, all the aspiring candidates are advised to go through it first and then apply for the NEET exam. The applications are already made available in the official website of CBSE for download. Aspirants are advised to apply for the NEET 2017 on or before the last date. The applications won’t be accepted by the board after the last date ends.
NEET 2017 Notification Released
The wait is over. CBSE has finally published the NEET 2017 notification inviting applications from the aspiring students of the state. All the interested and eligible students of the state are advised to apply for the exam by visiting the official website of CBSE NEET on or before the last date. The official website from where students can apply for NEET 2017 is cbseneet.nic.in. On all India level, NEET is the only medical entrance exam from this year for all India quota seats, state government seats, state/management/NRI seats in private medical and dental colleges as well as central pool quota seats.
Things the Applicants of NEET 2017 should know
- All the applicants of NEET 2017 must and should have their Aadhaar number while applying for the exam. NRIs can make use of their passport number.
- The application form of NEET will be available from 31st January 2017 to 1st March 2017. So, interested candidates should apply between these dates.
- The age limit of the candidates should be 17 years at the time of admission or as on 31st December 2017. The upper age relaxation is applicable for reserved candidates which is 25 years as on the date of examination. Candidates of SC/ST/OBC will have an age relaxation of 5 years.
- Students need to follow the new syllabus issued by CBSE to prepare for NEET 2017.
- The NEET question paper will be published in languages like Hindi, English, Gujarati, Marathi, Oriya, Bengali, Assamese, Telugu, Tamil, Kannada.
Every year around 5 lakh candidates used to take AIPMT/NEET exam for medical college entrance, but from this year it is going to raise significantly because all the universities and colleges in the states are now going to provide admissions based on the NEET score instead of considering other entrance exam scores.
Eligibility for NEET 2017
- Candidates should be of Indian Nationality or OCI (Overseas Citizen of India).
- Candidates may attempt the exam only 3 times until the maximum age limit is reached.
- Students must have passed 12th or equivalent examination from any recognized board with Physics, Chemistry, Biology/Bio-technology or any other election subject with English.
- Applicants must have minimum of 50% marks in PCB group for General category, 45% for general PH and 40% for SC/ST/OBC categories.
Application Fee
The application fee can be paid through online mode using credit/debit/net banking/e-wallet etc. The application fee is different for different categories. For OBC/General, the application fee is Rs. 1400/- and for SC/ST/PH, the application fee is Rs. 750/-.
NEET Exam Pattern
- The question paper will contain total of 180 multiple choice question.
- The subjects covered will be Physics, Chemistry, Zoology and Botany.
- The exam will be conducted in offline mode for 3 hours duration.
- For each correct answer 4 marks will be awarded and 1 mark will be deducted for each incorrect answer.
- Each section contains 45 questions making a total of 180 questions and 720 marks.
NEET 2017 Syllabus
- The syllabus for NEET contains Physics, Chemistry, Zoology and Botany.
- The questions will be triggered from 11th and 12th standard syllabus.
- Few questions will be triggered from other boards syllabus as well.
NEET 2017 Admit Card
The NEET admit card 2017 will be released by CBSE days before the exam via its official website. Students will be informed about the admit cards when they are made available for download. According to the notification, the admit card will be available for download from 15th April 2017. Candidates should make sure to download and carry the admit cards to the exam hall without fail as it is mandatory to carry it to take the exam.
NEET 2017 Answer Key
The official answer key for NEET 2017 exam will be released by CBSE after the exam is completed. Candidates can download the official answer key from the website of CBSE and cross check their answers to find out their score in the exam.
NEET 2017 Result
According to the notification issued by CBSE, the result of NEET 2017 will be out on 8th June 2017. Students can check their NEET result by means of the official website of CBSE. Students will be able to download their result from the site. Students need to use their roll number to fetch their results. Take a printout of your result and keep it safe. The final merit list after shortlisting the candidates with the help of cutoff marks will be made available in the official website of CBSE for download after results release.
NEET 2017 Counselling
The counselling will be held by Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS) for 15% All India Quota through online mode. Students will be given admissions as per the ranks gained by them in the NEET 2017 exam.

How to apply for NEET 2017?
- Go to the official website of CBSE NEET i.e., cbseneet.nic.in.
- In the official website, click on the application form and fill the details.
- Pay the application fee and submit the form.
- Take a printout for future use.
