Educational Qualification
- Employees who are retired can apply for the posts. However, the candidates must not be retired under the LARSGESS retirement scheme.

Northern Railway Recruitment 2017 RRCNR 270 Goods Guard ASM Posts Apply Online @ rrcnr.org
Northern Railway Recruitment has published an advertisement inviting applications from the aspirants of the state for the posts of Goods Guard and Assistant Station Master (ASM). There are a total of 270 vacancies in both the positions. Interested and eligible aspirants can rush and apply for the positions on or before the last date. NRR is inviting applications from young and talented aspirants of the state to apply for the position. The notification is available in the official site of NRR. Eligibility Criteria for RRCNR Recruitment 2017
The educational qualification is different for Goods Guard and ASM posts. Applicants applying for Goods Guard post should possess University Degree or its equivalent degree from any recognized university/ board. Applicants of ASM post should possess Diploma in Rail Transport and Management from the Institute of Rail Transport from any recognized university or board. The maximum age limit of the contenders should be 42 years as on 1st January 2017. Upper age relaxation is applicable as per the norms of the authority. For SC/ST applicants, age relaxation is 5 years and for OBC applicants, the age relaxation is 3 years.
The selection process is purely based on the merit shown by the candidates in the rounds conducted. Selection will be done through General Departmental Competitive Examination (GDCE) 2017 followed by document verification and medical exam. The pay scale for shortlisted candidates will be from Rs. 5200/- to Rs. 20200/- along with a grade pay of Rs. 2800. Please refer official notification to know the application fee for the posts.
