Indian Postal Circle has advertised a notification asking the eligible and interested candidates to apply for the post of postal sorting assistant jobs.  As per the official notification, there are 1825 postal vacancies which will be filled by conducting a written exam.  Many aspirants have been waiting eagerly for the notification and here is it finally.  Candidates who desire to work in postal department of UP can apply for this post. Candidates who made it to the eligibility criteria can apply for the post.  Candidates who have 12^th or equivalent qualification from any government recognized institution or board with minimum qualifying marks can apply for the post.

• For general and OBC category candidates, application fee is Rs.400
• For SC/ST/Ex-Serviceman category candidates, application fee is Rs.150

Pay scale

Applicants who got selected for the post will be paid Rs.5200 to Rs.20200 along with grade pay of Rs.1900 to Rs.2400.

Eligibility criteria for UP Post office jobs 2016

Educational qualification

12^th/intermediate or equivalent qualification from any government recognized institution or board with minimum qualifying marks can apply for the post.  Please refer official notification for complete details about eligibility criteria.

Age limit

• Applicants should have a minimum age of 18 and maximum of 27 as on 1^st July, 2016.
• For OBC candidates, age relaxation is 3 years
• For SC/ST candidates, age relaxation is 5 years
• For Physically handicapped candidates, age relaxation is 10 years

Selection procedure

Candidates will be shortlisted based on their performance in the written exam followed by Physical Endurance Test.  Candidates who got qualified in the written exam will be forwarded for PET round.  Shortlisted candidates will be given job.
