- Exam Pattern:

- For IBPS PO & Clerk Examination, Preliminary Exam is conducted for 1 hour(100 Marks) and consists of Multiple Choice Questions(MCQ).

- Note: Try to answer this section at last, and be careful while answering.
- Reasoning:
- Topics Covered here are Syllogism, Inequality, Coding – Decoding, Miscellaneous questions – (Input/output, Blood relation, Alphanumeric Series, Direction, Ranking, etc.) & Seating Arrangement/ Puzzle.
- Note: This section is the best one to score good marks.
- General Awareness:

- Note: Try to finish this section in 15minutes to save time. Be careful while answering comprehension questions.
- Computer Knowledge:
- Topics: Basic computer terminology, Software & Hardware questions, Computer abbreviation, Database Management System (DBMS) ,Microsoft-office, Basic knowledge of Internet use etc.
- Note: Easy section, and try to complete it within 15-20 Minutes.
- Professional Knowledge:
- This section will test your subject specific knowledge. For example, if you are applying for IT Officer, then questions might be asked from subjects like databases, data structures, object oriented programming
- Note: Maximum marks will be given to this section. Try to answer as many correct answers as possible.
