- Group A: Officer Scale-I(Manager Trainee), Officer Scale-II(Manager Level Post), Officer Scale-III(Senior Level Post)
- Group B: Office Assistant
- For Officers Scale-I Post[Total Time 2 hours or 120 Minutes]:
- Reasoning(Total 50 Marks): Try to solve this section in 30 minutes.
- English/Hindi Language(Total 40 Marks in Each): Try to solve this section in 20 Minutes.
- General Awareness(Total 40 Marks): Try To Solve this section in 20 Minutes.
- Quantitative Aptitude(Total 50 Marks): Attempt this portion at last, and try to complete this part within 30 Minutes
- Computer Knowledge(Total 20 Marks): Try to solve this section in 10 minutes maximum.
- For Officers Assistant Post[Total Time 2 hours or 120 Minutes]:
- Reasoning(Total 50 Marks): Try to solve this section in 30 minutes.
- English/Hindi Language(Total 40 Marks in Each): Try to solve this section in 20 Minutes.
- General Awareness(Total 40 Marks): Try To Solve this section in 20 Minutes.
- Numerical Aptitude(Total 50 Marks): Attempt this portion at last, and try to complete this part within 30 Minutes
- Computer Knowledge(Total 20 Marks): Try to solve this section in 10 minutes maximum.
- Note: Easy Questions will be set for this post as compared to those for Group-A Posts.
Subject Wise Assessment – How To Crack Regional Rural Banks RRB Exam Of IBPS
- Reasoning:
- This section is the best one to score as it will test your general ability as well as spot-thinking capability.
- Topics To Be Considered: Syllogism, Inequality, Coding – Decoding, Miscellaneous questions – (Input/output, Blood relation, Alphanumeric Series, Direction, Ranking, etc.) & Seating Arrangement/ Puzzle.
- Note: Input/output questions can also be asked in Officer Scale exams.
- Quantitative Aptitude:
- This section will test your maths knowledge and will cover topics from NCERT syllabus up to Class 10/Matriculation Level.
- Topics: Simplification –Data Interpretation– Questions on Data Interpretation, Number series and Miscellaneous questions – Average, Profit & Loss, Time & Work, Time & Distance, Boats & Streams, etc.
- Note: Attempt this section at last, and never ever get stick to any Numerical Series Questions.
- English/Hindi Language:
- Basic knowledge on the language will be tested in this section.
- Important Topics: [For English- Fill in the Blanks, Cloze test, Spotting the Error, Para-jumbles & Reading Comprehension], [For Hindi- Antonym, Synonym, Cloze Test & comprehension reading]
- Note: Candidates opting for Hindi will be advantageous, because it takes less time to solve the questions.
- General Awareness:
- If you read newspaper daily, then definitely you will be able to answer all the questions in this section.
- Topics To Be Considered:Current Affairs of last 6 months, Marketing, Economy, Awards & Honours, Finance, Sports, Agriculture , Banking Terms , History of Banking, RBI, Fiscal Monetary Policies
- Note:Current Affairs related to Banking sector will mostly be asked in this section.
- Computer Knowledge:
- In this section, you will be tested with your computer skills.
- Topics: Basic of Computers, Computer Organization, Generations of computer, Input & Output Device, Shortcuts & Basic knowledge MS word, MS Excel, MS power point, Memory Orientation, Internet, LAN, WAN, Modem, Computer Abbreviations, Modern day Technology.
