Punjab TET Notification 2016
Punjab School Education Board (PSEB) has issued a notification inviting applications for Punjab State Teacher Eligibility Test (PSTET). Interested and eligible candidates can apply for the PSTET exam by visiting the official site of PSEB. The applications for PSTET exam are allowed from 5th July, 2016. The Punjab TET exam will be conducted on 21st August, 2016. The admit cards will be made available in the official site from 13th August, 2016. Candidates who are eagerly waiting for Punjab TET exam can make use of this opportunity and apply for the exam. Candidates who are willing to apply for the PSTET exam should first satisfy some eligibility criteria set by PSEB. Candidates need to have a minimum educational qualification of degree or 10+2 with minimum 50% aggregate from any recognized institute or college.

Punjab TET 2016 Eligibility Criteria
Educational qualification
Candidates who are willing to apply for Punjab TET should have an educational qualification of 10+2 with minimum 50% aggregate from any recognized institute or college or should have graduation degree or 2 year diploma degree in elementary education from any recognized board or institute.
Age limit
The appropriate age limit of the candidate as per Punjab School Education Board is available in the official notification. Please refer the official notification to know the age limit. Age relaxation is applicable as per the rules of PSEB.
Selection procedure
The selection procedure is purely based on the merit of the candidates. Qualified candidates of PTET exam will be eligible to appear for the next round.
Application fee
The application fee is different for different categories.
For general candidates, the application fee is Rs. 600/-
For SC/ST, the application fee is Rs. 300/-
How to apply for Punjab TET 2016 online?
- Go visit the official site of PSTET i.e., pstet.org.in.
- In the official site first find the official notification and read it thoroughly.
- Now click on the application form and fill in all your details appropriately without any mistakes.
- Upload the documents needed and also the recent passport size photograph.
- Now pay the application fee and submit the application.
- After submission, take a printout of your application and secure it for future use.
