Eligibility Criteria for RRC Delhi Group D Posts

Applicants need to be an Indian citizen to apply for the position.  The age limit of the applicants should be between 18 years and 33 years.  Upper age relaxation is applicable as per the norms of the authority.  For SC/ST category candidates, the age relaxation is 5 years.  For OBC, it is 3 years.  For Domiciled in J&K, the age relaxation is 5 years.  For PWD (unreserved), the age relaxation is 10 years and for PWD (OBC), it is 13 years.  For PWD (SC/ST), the age relaxation is 15 years.  For Serving Railway Staff (UR), the age relaxation is up to 40, for Serving Railway Staff (OBC), the age relaxation is up to 43, for Serving Railway Staff (SC/ST), the age relaxation is 45 years.

For Employees of Quasi-Administrative offices of the Railways, the length of service is rendered maximum to 5 years.  For widows, divorced women (UR), it is up to 35 years, for OBC, it is up to 38, for SC/ST it is up to 40.

Educational qualification and selection procedure

Applicants should have passed 10^th standard or ITI or equivalent qualification from any recognized educational institute/board.  Only applicants who satisfy the educational qualification provided by the authority are eligible to apply for the position.  Applicants need to make sure to go through the official notification released by the authority to get a hold of exact educational qualification details.  The selection procedure is done in various steps like written exam followed by Physical Efficiency Test (PET), document verification, and medical examination.  Only those people who satisfy all the eligibility criteria and who qualify in all selection rounds conducted by the authority will be given jobs.
