SAIL Salem Steel Plant Recruitment 2015, has recently published a notification inviting eligible candidates for filling up 55 posts. As per the notification, there are 55 posts to be filled which includes 02 Posts for Senior Manager, 01 Post for Medical Officer, 28 Posts for Operator cum Technician Trainee and 24 Posts for Attendant cum Technician Trainee. Interested eligible candidates are requested to fill up their application form on or before 9th Feb 2015.

Educational Qualification
For applying to the above mentioned posts, the candidate must possess Degree in Electrical Engineering (full time) with 65% marks from a college that is approved by AICTE or :
For Post 1: Recognized university/ Institution/ Engineering Degree in Computer Science
For Post 2: MBBS from a University/ Institute recognized by MCI
For Post 3: Matriculation with Three years full time Diploma in Civil/ Metallurgy/ Mechanical/ Electrical/ Chemical Engineering from an institute recognized by government.
For Post 4 : Matriculation with ITI (full time) in Fitter Trade/ Electrician Trade/ Machinist Trade/ Welder Trade from Govt. Recognized Institute.
Age Limit
For being eligible for the above mentioned posts, a candidate must be:
- 43 yrs of age for post 1
- 30 yrs of age for post 2
- 28 yrs of age for post 3 & 4
Age relaxation as per rules is applicable.
Selection Process
Applicants will be selected on the basis of their performance in a written test and an interview.

- There isn’t any fee for SC/ST/PWD for any post, whereas other candidates must pay the following fees :
Candidates will need to pay Rs500 for post 1 & 2, Rs250 for post 3 & Rs 150 for post 4 as the application and processing fee which will be paid through Pay in Slip (SBI Challan) which will be generated after submitting online application, in a specially opened account No.33182116230 at SSP Campus Branch, Salem, on behalf of Salem Steel Plant, SAIL.

Instructions For Applying Online
- Firstly, the candidate will need to log on through the website www.sail.co.in.
- After that, click on “Careers” and them “Current Job Opening/ Online Registration”.
- Then choose the appropriate post and click on apply.
After that, fill all the necessary details and download the SBI challan for fee payment.
- At last, submit the application with all the fee payment details.
- A system generated Registration Slip with unique registration number will appear, download it.
