Eligibility Criteria for SBI Clerk:
- Candidate must complete his graduation degree or equivalent in any discipline from any state or central recognized university or institute.
- Age limit of the candidate should be minimum of 20 years to maximum of 28 years as on the date specified in the official notification.
- Upper age limit will be granted to candidates belonging to some specific categories.
- Age relaxation of the candidate is applicable as per the rules of the government.
Application Fee for SBI Clerk:
- General and other category candidates should pay the online application fee of Rs: 600/-
- SC, ST and PWD category candidates should pay the application fee of Rs: 100/-
- Application fee can be paid through online or challan
Selection Process for SBI Clerk:
Selection procedure includes several stages such as online exam, document verification and personal interview. Candidates those who qualify in the online written examination can be called for the personal interview and the document verification. Finally a merit list is drawn using the secured scores of online examination and personal interview. Candidates in the final merit list should be posted as assistant in clerical cadre in any of the branches of State Bank of India.
SBI Clerk exam pattern 2016:
The SBI Clerk examination 2016 will be conducted for the total of 200 marks which includes 5 sections such as Reasoning Ability, Quantitative Aptitude and General awareness, General English and marketing Aptitude or Computer Knowledge. The time duration of SBI Clerk examination 2016 will be 135 minutes.
Application Form:
- To apply for the online examination candidates have to fill the application form which would be available in the mode of online.
- To fill the online application form candidate has to access the official website of SBI and need to enter some basic details.
- After that applicant has to upload a scanned passport size photograph and the signature in the prescribed format.
- The final step is to pay the application fee in either online mode or offline mode.
- Once the form is filled click on the submit button.
