State Bank of India (SBI) is all prepped to conduct the Probationary Officer (PO) exam this year like every year it does. It has already issued the exam notification and also accepted applications from the eligible and interested candidates. There are around 2000 vacancies in the PO post for which lakhs of aspirants applied through online mode. Now, as the exam is in the close quarters, all the candidates have been waiting for the release of the updated syllabus and exam pattern to be followed by SBI for PO exam. The syllabus and exam pattern will help candidates a great deal in preparing for the exam.
The SBI PO Exam 2019 will conduct a test which is a descriptive test and the duration of that respective test is about 30 minutes. And the score of that respective test is about 50 marks. In order to test the best writing and the best grammar skills of the candidate, this test is being taken place. Through letter writing and essay writing, the candidates are being judged on.
There is also a negative marking based on each wrong answer. The amount of mark which is being cut is about 0.25. in case if the candidate leaves any question blank without answering the respective question, then no such marks will get deducted.

Preliminary Examination
- The preliminary exam will be held for 100 marks.
- The time duration is for 60 minutes.
- For each wrong answer, 1/4th mark will be deducted.
