SSC CAPF SI 2017 Application Form, Exam Date, Eligibility
Staff Selection Commission (SSC) is all set to conduct All India Level Examination for the recruitment of the candidates for Sub-Inspector (SI) in Central Armed Police Forces (CAPFs) and Delhi Police and Assistant Sub-Inspector (ASI) in Central Industrial Security Forces (CISF). The exam will be held in hundreds of exam centers all across the country. All the interested and eligible candidates of the country are advised to apply for the positions on or before the last date. Applicants will be shortlisted based on their performance in the selection rounds like written exam, PET, PST, and Medical Test.
All the interested candidates are advised to go through the official notification before applying for the exam. The applications will be accepted starting from 28th January 2017. Candidates can apply to the positions by visiting the official website of SSC. The registration process of applications is done in two parts. The part I of the application registration includes filling the details in the form while the other part includes paying of application fee for the examination. The applications will be accepted through online mode by the authority. Aspirants can also pay the fee in offline mode from any SBI branch.

Eligibility Criteria for SSC CAPF SI Recruitment 2017
Applicants who wish to apply for SSC CAPF SI post need to satisfy certain eligibility criteria that include educational qualification, age limit etc. So, we would suggest all the aspiring applicants to go through the notification released by SSC before applying. The applicants should have Bachelor’s degree from any recognized university or board. The minimum age limit of the applicants should be 18 years and maximum age limit should be 25 years. The upper age relaxation is applicable for reserved category candidates as per the norms of the government. The age relaxation varies from category to category. For SC/ST, the upper age relaxation is 30 years. For OBC/Ex-Servicemen (General), the upper age relaxation is 28 years. For Ex-Servicemen (OBC), it is 32years and for SC/ST it is 33 years. The pay scale of the shortlisted candidates will be good and as per the norms of SSC. For Sub Inspector in Delhi Police posts, the pay scale will be around 32, 667 to 37, 119 with a grade pay of 4200. For Sub Inspector in CAPFs, the pay scale will be 32, 667 to 37, 119 with a grade pay of 4200 and for Assistant sub inspector in CISF, the pay scale will be 27, 766 to 31, 790 with a grade pay of Rs. 2800. The selection of the candidates will be purely based on the performance of the candidates in the selection rounds. The selection rounds include written test followed by Physical Endurance Test followed by Medical Test. The application fee is Rs. 100 for general and male. No fee for females/SC/ST and Ex-Servicemen.
SSC CAPF SI 2017 Exam Pattern
- The exam will be held in online mode in two papers i.e., Paper I and Paper II. The papers contain objective type questions.
- Paper I contains four sections i.e., General Intelligence, General Knowledge @ General Awareness, Quantitative Aptitude and English Language.
- Paper I contains 200 questions each carrying one mark. The exam will be held for 2 hours.
- Paper II will have English Language and Comprehension sections.
- Same as Paper I, Paper II also contains 200 questions each carrying one mark. The exam duration is 2 hours.
- Fore very wrong answer 1/4th mark will be deducted.
SSC CAPF SI Exam Syllabus 2017
The syllabus for SSC CAPF SI exam is available in the official website of SSC for download. It will be available in the PDF format. Make sure to download it as soon as possible and start your preparation to crack the exam in first attempt itself.
SSC SI Admit Card 2017
SSC will issue the admit card for the CAPF SI exam 2017 soon when the exam is nearby. For now, admit cards for Eastern and KKR region are available for download. It is mandatory to carry admit card to the exam hall, so make sure to download it as soon as it is made available.
SSC SI Result 2017
The result of the SSC CAPF SI exam 2017 will be issued after the evaluation. It will take some time to announce the results. The results will be made available in the official website of SSC for download.
SSC SI Cutoff 2017
The cutoff marks will be used by SSC to shortlist the candidates for further rounds. They play a vital role and will be decided by the board itself by considering various factors. Cutoff marks are different for different categories.

How to apply for SSC CAPF SI Recruitment 2017?

- In the official website, click on the notification and read it thoroughly.
- Now click on the application link and fill in the application form.
- Pay the application fee and submit the application.
- Take a printout of the form for future use.
