SSC Junior Hindi Translator Recruitment 2016
Staff Selection Commission has issued the official notification for the jobs of Senior Hindi Translator, Junior Hindi Translators, Junior Translators and Hindi Pradhyapak examination 2016. The interested and eligible candidates can apply through online. The Staff Selection Commission will schedule written exam on 19th June 2016.
Eligibility criteria
Educational qualification
Candidates should have possessed with graduate / post graduate degree English / Hindi with Hindi / English as a compulsory or elective subject at degree level and relevant degree from recognized University / institution. Candidates who have passed B.A (Hons) in English / Hindi with Hindi / English as subsidiary /(Modern Indian Language MIL) subject are eligible to apply as well
Age limit
The age of the candidate must not exceed 30 years as on the date calculated for the same.
Application fee
Candidates need to apply in the prescribed format. Candidates are accepted only through online mode. Application fee of Rs. 100/- has to be remitted through SBI Challan / Net banking / credit / debit card or in cash through challan generated online at the branch of State Bank of India. The fee payment is exempted for some such as women and the candidates belonging to Scheduled Caste, Scheduled Tribe, Physically Handicapped and Ex-Servicemen.
Selection procedure
The selection is based on written test and interview. Written test consists 2 papers that is Paper I and Paper II both papers consists 400 marks. Interview consists 100 marks. Candidates will have to get a minimum score in Paper- I for getting their paper-II evaluated. Qualifying marks in Paper-II shall also be fixed as per the Commission’s discretion. The interview will be held at the Commission’s Regional / Sub-Regional Offices or at any other place as per the discretion of the SSC. Final recommendation of the candidates for appointment will be done on the basis of their aggregate marks in the Written Examination and Interview.
Paper pattern
Paper – I consists objective type questions and paper II consists Conventional type. Candidates have to secure minimum qualifying marks in the Paper -I. There will be negative marking of 0.25 marks for each wrong answer in Paper – I. Paper 1 consists 200 marks and paper 2 consists 200 marks the total marks is 400 marks and the duration of the exam is 2 hours for each paper.
About organization
The Committee in the Parliament recommended for Service Selection Commission in its 47th report for conducting examinations for recruitment to lower categories of posts. The Staff Selection Commission department established in the year 1977. The SSC functions are carried out by the ministry of home affairs. It is a government organization working to select the eligible applicants who are looking central Government job opportunities. Recently the board updated the SSC junior translator recruitment 2016. The list of employment provided in the recruitment is not mentioned in the notification.
