Teacher Eligibility Test (TET) is an entrance exam conducted by both central and state governments in order to recruit teachers for government schools all around the country. TET is conducted in two phases i.e., paper I and paper II. TET paper-I is conducted for Class 1 to Class 5 and Paper II is conducted for Class 6 to Class 8. Candidates who are applying for the post should graduate in B.A, B.Sc, and B.Com from any recognized institution with minimum qualifying marks. Candidates need have a minimum of 60% in their academics to be eligible for this exam. TET syllabus is different for different states. The TET exam conducting authority will conduct exams for the eligible candidates who are aspiring to become teachers and will recruit qualified and merit teachers.
