TS government is involved in providing scholarships to the students who belong to backward classes of the society. It has been offering the services from years and this year too it has come up with an announcement about issuing scholarships to the eligible students of the state. Many eligible students have applied by visiting the official site of TS Epass and are now waiting to check the status of their application. Candidates who apply for the Epass scholarships offered by TS government should satisfy certain eligibility criteria. Students who satisfy all the criteria set by the government will only be granted scholarships. Other applications will be rejected by the government.
This reimbursement scheme offered by TS government has been used by many students till date to complete their studies. It is a wonderful opportunity provided by the government for the students who cannot afford the fees to complete their studies. The government will provide scholarships to the students who belong to Scheduled Caste, Scheduled Tribe, Backward Class, Disable, and economically backward classes.

Telangana Epass Scholarship Status
Students who want to do their graduation and post graduation courses like B.Tech, MBA and MCA Epass scholarship. Students who satisfy the criteria of Epass like belonging to the backward class and making income less than 2 lakhs can apply for the scholarship whilst the students belonging to EBC, BC and physically handicapped category with an income of 1 lakh can apply for the scholarship. Candidate should have post matric qualification from any Telangana colleges recognized by the government. Students should have 75% attendance by the end of the quarter year.
How to check Epass status online?
Here are the steps on who to check Epass status online. Follow the steps to check your Epass status in the official site of TS Epass.
- Go visit the official site of TS Epass i.e., telanganaepass.cgg.gov.in.
- In the official web portal search for the link saying ‘Know Your Application Status’ on the homepage and click on it.
- On clicking the link, it will be navigated to a new page.
- In the page opened select either Post Matric or Pre Matric.
- Enter your details like application number, academic year, SSC hall ticket number, SSC passed out year, date of birth.
- After entering the details, click on ‘Get Status’ button.
- On clicking Get status button the application status will be displayed on the screen.
- Check out the status of your application and take a printout of it for future reference.
