UBTER stands for Uttarakhand board of technical education Roorkee has successfully conducted the written exam for the Joint entrance exam for polytechnic (JEEP) on 1st May 2016 at various centers across the state. Joint Engineering Examination Polytechnic has successfully conducted several examination centers across Uttarakhand. The candidates who have written the exam are started searching for the answer key.
About UBTER
Uttarakhand Board of Technical Education has been set up by an act no – 27 of 2003 as passed by Uttarakhand legislative assembly and assented by governor on 13 January 2004 and notified on 15 January 2004. It provides for the establishment and constitution of board of technical education in Uttarkhand and for matters connected there with or incidental there to. The act is enacted by the state assembly in 54 year of India. it extends to the whole of Uttarakhand state. The board conducted entrance examination in various centers. every year large number of students will participate in this exam. It conduct the exam to intake eligible candidates in to various courses of engineering like Diploma in Electronics Engineering Diploma in IT, Computer Science, Electronics, Mechanical, Textiles etc. The candidates who have intrested to take admission to various Government and private polytechnic institute have applied and attempt the exam.
Pattern of exam
There was 100 questions in the polytechnic entrance exam 2016. Maths consists 50 questions and physics consists 25 – 25 each for Physics and Chemistry. The questions will come from the high school and senior secondary class. For each correct answer it consists 4 marks and 1 negative mark for incorrect answer.
