CBSE UGC NET Application Form JAN 2017 Apply Online
Central Board of Secondary Education has issued a notification appealing applications from the aspirants for UGC NET exam 2017. The exam is slated to be held in the month of January on 22nd. The board has released an official advertisement asking the interested and eligible aspirants to apply for the job. The notification was issued on 15th October this year. CBSE is going to held National Eligibility Test (NET) for all the interested applicants of the exam in January next year. It is conducting the exam to recruit Assistant Professors and Junior Research Fellowship in Indian universities and colleges.
The applications to take up the UGC NET are available in the official site of CBSE. Contenders who are willing to apply for the exam can visit the official site and fill in the applications forms as soon as possible before the last date. The applications will be accepted from the official site of the board from 17th October. The last date to submit the application forms is 16th November, 2016. CBSE NET 2017 Educational Qualification
Candidates applying for NET exam 2017 should have a master degree with minimum 50% aggregate or equivalent from any approved university or institution to apply for the post of JRF. For the post of Lectureship, candidate should have passed Ph.D. Degree with minimum 50% marks.
Age limit
- The maximum age limit for Junior Research Fellowship post is 28 years with 5 years upper age relaxation for OBC/SC/ST/PWD candidates.
- There is no upper age relaxation for UGC NET exam for Assistant Professor post.
Application fee
The applicant fee for general category is Rs 600
For OBC is Rs 300 and
For SC/ST/PWD is Rs 150

The applications to apply for UGC NET exam 2017 will be available in the official site of CBSE. Candidates can hurry up and fill in the application form and submit it online before the last date of application commencement. Here are the simple steps on how to apply online for UGC NET Exam 2017.
- Go visit the official site of CBSE NET i.e., cbsenet.nic.in.
- In the official site click on the CBSE UGC NET exam 2017 notification link and read it thoroughly.
- Now click on the application form link and fill in the appropriate details in the specified fields.
- Upload your scanned photograph and signature and pay the application fee using credit/debit card. You can also send echallan generated through the website at Syndicate/Canara/ICICI/HDFC bank branch.
- Now click on the submit button and the application will be submitted.
- Take a printout of the application form, attendance slip and admission card.
- Attack the necessary documents to the application form as mentioned in the notification and send via Registrar/Principal of the Coordinating Institution.
Selection process
The selection process is purely based on the merit of the candidates shown in the written exam conducted by CBSE. Qualified candidates for written exam in both the posts will be called for interview.
