UGC NET Syllabus 2016
University Grants Commission (UGC) National Eligibility Test (NET) conducts test every year. Candidates looking a career in teaching sector they have to appear in UGC NET exam 2016. To write the exam candidates should have the minimum degree in Post Graduation in the concerned discipline from any UGC recognized Universities / colleges in India with minimum 55 percent marks. CBSE conducts the NET examination behalf of UGC. In written exam consists 3 papers. There are Paper 1, Paper 2, and Paper 3. The paper consists 175 questions and duration of the exam is mentioned separately.
UGC NET Exam pattern
In Paper 2 Commerce consists 50 objective type questions it consists 100 marks. Paper 3 consists two parts Part A and B. In Part A consists 10 short essay type questions it should be 300 words each carry 16 marks in that 1 question will be one question with internal choice. The total marks consist for this paper is 160. Part B it is compulsory exam on question will be from one elective. Candidates have to attempt 1 question in each elective we have to write in 800 words it carries 40 marks and total marks for the exam is 200.
UGC NET Qualifying marks
The candidates who belong to General category in paper 1 40, paper 2 – 40 marks and paper 3 – 75 marks. The candidates who belong to OBC have to score 35 marks and in paper 2- 35 marks and paper 3 – 60 marks.
