UP JAL Nigam Recruitment 2016 Junior Engineer Vacancies

Uttar Pradesh Jal Nigam has issued a recruitment notification inviting applications from the aspirants of the state for the post of Junior Engineers (Civil), Junior Engineer (Electrical/Mechanical) posts.  There are 853 vacancies in the JE posts as per the notification.  There are 727 Junior Engineer (Civil) and 126 Junior Engineer (Electrical/Mechanical) vacancies.  Interested and eligible candidates of UP are advised to rush and apply for the post as soon as possible before the last date.  The applications will be accepted online via the official site of UP Jal Nigam.

UP Jal Nigam every year recruits applicants for various posts. This year too the organization has come up with recruitment notification seeking applications from the interested candidates of the state.  Candidates who are willing to work as Junior Engineers at UP Jal Nigam are advised to hurry and apply for the job soon.  The applications will be accepted starting from 31^st October 2016.  The last date to submit the applications is 20^th November 2016.  Candidates will receive a good pay scale in the JE post in both Civil and Electrical/Mechanical categories.  Candidates need to hold 3 years diploma in concerned branches of engineering or equivalent to apply for the job.

Eligibility Criteria

Educational qualification

Candidates need to have 3-year diploma from a concerned branch of Engineering or equivalent.

Age limit

The age limit of the candidates should be between 18 years to 40 years.  Nevertheless, for candidates belonging to SC/ST/BC/PWD/Ex-Servicemen age relaxation is applicable as per the norms of the state government.

Pay scale

Junior Engineer (Civil) and Junior Engineer (Electrical/Mechanical) will receive a pay scale of Rs. 9300 to Rs. 34800 with grade pay of Rs. 4200 along with other benefits from the department.

Application fee

The application fee for SC/BC candidates is Rs. 300.  The application fee for general candidates is Rs. 600.  The fees can be deposited in through e-challan or through Net banking online submission of application form

The selection of the candidates is purely based on the performance of the candidates in the selection rounds that include written exam followed by an interview.
