The Uttar Pradesh state government is every year providing scholarship for students those who complete the eligibility criteria given by Govt. The UP Scholarship 2016-17 is available in the month of September. Interested and eligible candidates can get the application form and apply for Uttar Pradesh state scholarship scheme. Uttar Pradesh Government Every year distributes the three types of Scholarship to all the suitable and financially weak students of Uttar Pradesh state. These three schemes are Pre Metric, Metric and Post Metric. All the Candidates belongs to reserved category, minority, general category, OBC, SC, ST takes the advantage of these schemes. This financial award of Scholarship to support the students who want to pursue their higher education on the basis of academic achievement.

Details about Parametric Scholarship
Eligibility Criteria:
Candidates must studied in the UP district below than 10th class either they belongs to General, SC, ST, OBC and minorities categories can also apply for the scholarship. UP government has classified all the eligible 575 courses into four groups. The student must be enrolled in any of the courses given above in registered Institutes with On line Master Database. Annual Family income from all sources should be less than 2,00,000 for all categories including SC, ST Category. Less than Rs 1,00,000 for minority and OBC, General Category.

Application Fee
There is no Application Fee is required for all the categories candidates. They only need to Fill Online Application Form.
Submit the application form at their respective school/colleges for the verification and school/colleges will forward the scholarship form to the zonal center for the further process. Zonal Centers approved by Uttar Pradesh Government will re-check the application form submitted by students to cross check all the details. After the verification of documents they will upload the up scholarship status and up scholarship students list at official site scholarship.up.nic.in.
Procedure to Apply:
Students can apply for the UPTU Scholarship 2016 by following the below mentioned steps which will definitely help the candidates in easy registration:
First of all visit the official website by log on to the scholarship.up.nic.in
Press on the appropriate link of scholarship for session 2016
Fill the on line application form carefully.
Upload your passport size photograph and other documents in the specified format.
Check your filled in form again and press the “Submit” button.
Take a print out of your registration number for future reference.
Candidates must apply before the last date of the application other wise your registration will be canceled.
If already registered then renewal
Click on New Registration Renewal to Enter Your Last Year Registration No. with DOB and Mobile No.
Login into Portal and Check the All Details of Last Year. Verify or Change the Details
Then the candidate should take Print Out of Complete Form and need to Submit to College / University
