Minimum Educational Qualifications

IAS Preliminary Exam Pattern
- The test shall include of 2 obligatory papers of 200 marks each.
- Both the question papers will be of the objective type (multiple choice questions).
- The question papers will be put both in Hindi and English. However, questions telling to English Language Comprehension skills of Class X stage will be tested through passages from English Language only without giving the Hindi translation thereof in the question paper.
- Every paper will be of two hours period.
- Applicants should note that there will be punishment (negative marking) for incorrect answers marked by a applicant in the Objective Type Question Papers.
