UPSC IAS Prelim Examination Pattern 2015
Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) has issued an organization established by government sector of India and UPSC Main function is to conduct recruitment examinations for desired vacancies in various sectors by performing Competitive examination. Now UPSC Came up with IAS Prelims examination Notification 2015 to schedule Civil services, CMS, CDS,NDA, IES and Engineering services examinations which may belongs to Group A, B and Group C Category.
UPSC Prelims Examination and Syllabus 2015
Government is going to conduct Civil services examination once in every academic years in two phases such as prelims examination and mains examination. Applicants should qualify in both examinations to grasp IAS position in any region. If any one failed to get on from any phase they will not be allowed to get appear for desired recruitment by the authority. To apply for UPSC IAS Prelims examination aspirants must have any graduation in any relevant stream with good academic results from recognized university or board.

Candidates age must be above 21 years as per norms of authority. Eligible number of attempts for civil services examination will be 6 times for General Category, 9 times for OBC Candidates and no limit for reserved category candidates and scheduled caste candidates can apply for Civil services up to 37 years old. If the candidate once exceed to specified attempts they will not be allowed for Civil Services examination at any time in the future. UPSC Civil Service IAS Examination is going to be in two papers with 400 marks and Both Paper I and Paper II will be in Hindi and English language. UPSC IAS Prelims Exam Pattern 2015
Paper-I is for 100 question and 200 marks, each question carries 2 marks and Paper I examination duration will be 2 hours. Whereas Paper II is for 80 questions and 200 marks and each question carries 2.5 marks and Total Paper II exam for 2 hours. In both papers each wrong answer looses 1/3rd of the mark of that question actual mark. So applicants should be aware of negative marking to get good score in the examination.
IAS Prelims 2015 Examination Syllabus
Paper I topics includes Current affairs, India History, World Geography in Physics, economics, social of India, Indian Politics, Constitution, Panchayat Raj, Political system, Publics rights and conditions, Right issues, General Science, Economic and Social subjects Development, Environmental ecology issues, Bio diversity climate change topics, etc. Paper II Consists English language, Logical reasoning and analytical ability, Decision making, General mental ability, Interpersonal reasoning, Basic Numeracy, Comprehensive skills, Data Interpretation, etc., Applicants initially go through examination pattern and syllabus before going to schedule for Civil services examination Preparation.
