UP Lekhpal Exam Syllabus Pattern 2016 UPSSSC Chakbandi
Uttar Pradesh Subordinate Service Selection Commission has recently released a notification welcoming applications for the post of Lekhpal. It is going to recruit 2831 Chakbandi Lekhpal this year. Interested and eligible candidates can apply for the post by visiting the official site of UPSSSC. UPSSSC every year conducts various exams to recruit candidates for various posts in the state of UP. This year too it has come up with a notification to recruit merit candidates for the post of Chakbandi Lekhpal. Many aspirants have already started applying for the post. UPSSSC has released the official syllabus and exam pattern to be followed for this year exam. UP Lekhpal Syllabus 2016
The subjects included in UP Lekhpal exam 2016 are:
- General Hindi
- Mathematics
- General Knowledge
- Rural Development and Rural Society
Section wise Syllabus
General Hindi
Tatsam and Tadhbav, Sandhi, Samas, Ras, Paryaywachi, Lokoti, and Muhavre, Ling, Vachan, Kaarak, Kaal, Beloom, Anekarthi Shabd, Alankar.
Mathematics
Statistics, profit and loss, percentage, number system, geometry, algebra.
General knowledge
Candidates need to pay special attention for general knowledge section. They need to go through every day current affairs and happenings around the globe to gain good score in this section.
Rural development and rural society
Indian rural society, rural institutional systems, rural social change, sources of rural employment, rural administration, revenue administration, planning for rural development.

UP Lekhpal Exam Pattern 2016
The exam pattern is simple. First UPSSSC will conduct a written test. Candidates who got qualified in the written test will be eligible to appear for personal interview.
Written examination
The written examination contains four sections that cover all the four subjects.
- Section A will be on General Hindi, which contains 25 questions and the section is for 20 marks.
- Section B will be on Mathematics, which contains 25 questions and the section is for 20 marks.
- Section C will be on General Knowledge, which contains 25 questions and the section is for 20 marks. Candidates need to have basic knowledge of computer.
- Section D will be on Rural Development and Rural Society, which contains 25 questions and the section is for 20 marks.
The interview will be conducted for the shortlisted candidates of written exam for 20 marks. So, the entire exam is conducted for 100 marks. The written exam will be objective type. The entire written exam will be conducted for 80 marks and personal interview itself carries 20 marks. Candidates who satisfy the cutoff marks set by UPSSSC will be given job.
