Bihar State Power Holding Company Limited is earlier called as Bihar state Electricity Board (BSEB). It is a Bihar state owned electricity company. Bihar State Power Holding Company Limited is established in the year 1958. The organization formed under the Electricity Act, 1948. The Bihar electricity board consists 1,700 officers and 14,850 employees. It supplies power to the entire state.
Eligibility Criteria for BSPHCL Assistant Engineer notification 2016
Education Qualification
Aspirants must have pass in BE / B.Tech / B.Sc degree in Electrical / Electrical and Electronics Engineering / Computer Science / IT or its equivalent qualification from any approved institution or board with minimum aggregate of marks. The institute should approved by AICTE.
For accounts officer: Chartered Accountant passed final examination of institute of Chartered accounts in India.
Age limit
The candidates must have minimum age 21 years and maximum 37 years as on closing date of application. Age relaxation is applicable to BSPHCL norms. Age relaxation is applicable 5 years for SEBC, SC, ST and women.
Application fee
The candidates who are belong to General / open category need to pay Rs 1500 /- and The candidates who belong to reserved category such as SC / ST have to pay Rs 375 /-
Selection process
Bihar State Power Holding Company Limited will select the candidates based on Gate score / performance in qualifying exam. Candidates have to score more than cut off marks to get shortlisted.
Scale of pay
For the selected candidates they will pay Rs 32,000 to 51,000. They will increase 4 percent every year. One year probation period starting with consolidated monthly Rs 32000/-

The application starts from 11th April 2016 and the last date to apply is 30 April 2016. Fee closing date is 3 May 2016.
