Manoj Kumar to be presented Dadasaheb Phalke Award

• Veteran Film Actor and Director Manoj Kumar has been chosen for the prestigious 47th Dadasaheb Phalke Award for the year 2015.
• He was consistently chosen by a five part jury comprised of Nitin Mukesh, Lata Mangeshkar, Salim Khan, Asha Bhosle, and Anup Jalota.

Film researcher P K Nair passes away

• India’s spearheading film filer and film researcher Paramesh Krishnan Nair passed away in Pune, Maharashtra. He was 82. He had won the designation of ‘celluloid man’ for his long lasting devotion towards the procurement and conservation of true to life legacy of the nation.
• He was author and chief of Pune based National Film Archive of India (NFAI) in 1964.
