GATE ( Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering ) is national level examination for the students/candidates that are seeking admission for the post graduate courses like M.E, M-TECH, Direct P.H.D in Indian institutions of higher education. The marks of GATE may also be used by private or public sector. This exam is to test the comprehensive understanding in different fields/ subjects like Engineering, Architecture, Technology and different post graduate subjects in science. The exam is conducted online and I consists 23 papers and out of it candidates are allowed to apt only for one paper and those answers are to be given numerically. Rest of the questions are MCQs ( multiple choice questions ).
- In every paper there will be total 65 questions which will carry 100 marks. Out if 65 questions, 10 questions will be carrying total of 15 marks in General Aptitude.
- There will be two types questions asked i.e. Numerical question and Objective question. They will carry 1-2 marks each.
- In numerical questions the candidate have to enter the real number by virtual keypad and no options will be provided and in objective type i.e. MCQs option will be provided and have to choose from it.
