Eligibility Criteria of Maharashtra Prison Recruitment 2016

Required Educational Qualification

Candidates must pass in 12th or S.S.C. or any equivalent and should have the knowledge of Marathi Language with the minimum typing speed should be 40 wpm in English language and 30 wpm in Marathi language.

Age Limit:

For Jail Sepoy: Age of the candidate should be minimum of 18 years to 25 years

For Clerk:  The age of  candidates should be minimum of 18 years and maximum of 33 years.

Age Relaxation:

Upper age limit relaxation for reserved applicants are given below

For OBC Candidates age relaxation is applicable up to 3 years

For SC, ST Candidates age relaxation is applicable up to 5 years

For PH Candidates age relaxation is applicable up to 10 years

Application Fee:

General Category candidates has to pay application fee of Rs: 500/-

Reserved category applicants will have to pay application fee of Rs: 250/-

Selection Procedure:

Candidates will be selected on the basis of

• Physical Test

Pay Scale:

Shortlisted candidate will receive the pay scale of Rs: 5200 to Rs: 20200 with grade pay of Rs: 1900/-
