Eligibility criteria for RRB Secunderabad Recruitment 2017
Applicants of RRB Secunderabad ALP Technician Grade III post should have passed 12th class/ITI/Graduation or degree in any discipline its equivalent qualification from any recognized university or board with minimum percentage of marks. Candidates who are good at typing will have an advantage at the clerk posts. The age limit of the applicants should be between 18 years and 32 years as on 1st January 2017. The upper age relaxation is applicable for the reserved category candidates as per the rules of the government. For UR born between 02.01.1984 and 01.01.1998, for OBC Born between 02.01.1981 and 01.01.1998 and for SC/ST Born between 02.01.1979 and 01.01.1998.
The selection procedure is purely based on the performance of the candidates in the selection rounds conducted. Candidate who did well in the selection rounds conducted will be shortlisted for the posts. The board follows strict rules while shortlisting the candidates for various posts. The selection procedure includes Computer Based Test (CBT), Skill test/aptitude test, and document verification. The application mode is purely online. The application fee is reviewed by the RRB Sec itself. It is different for different categories of candidates. General and unreserved category candidates need to pay Rs. 100/- while SC/ST/Ex-Servicemen/PWD/Women and other reserved category candidates need not pay any application fee. Posts no. 1, 2 and 5 will receive a pay scale of about Rs. 5, 200 to 20, 200 plus grade pay of Rs. 2800/- and for no.3, 4 is Rs. 9, 300 to 34, 800 plus grade pay of Rs. 4, 200/-.
