RRC Delhi Group D Posts Selection Procedure
Railway Recruitment Cell (RRC) Northern Railway, Delhi issued an employment notification seeking applications from the contenders for Group D posts. RRC Delhi Group D Posts Selection Procedure
The selection of the candidates for various posts in RRC is purely based on the merit of the students shown in the selection rounds conducted. The selection procedure includes written exam followed by Physical Efficiency Test (PET), Document Verification, and Medical Examination. Candidates need to qualify in each and every round in order to qualify for the job. Here are the details of each and every round.
Written Exam
To shortlist the candidates, RRC conducts written exam in first place. Written exam is an objective type exam with multiple choice questions. The questions in the written exam will be triggered from the syllabus provided by RRC. Candidate with educational standard of 10th class can answer the questions easily. Those candidates who got qualified in the written exam will be called by RRC to appear for Physical Efficiency Test (PET). Candidates need to obtain minimum qualifying marks in the written exam in order to be qualified for PET. The question paper will be given in three different languages i.e., English, Hindi and Urdu. There is negative marking too. For every wrong answer, there will be a deduction of 1/3 mark.

Physical Efficiency Test (PET)
Candidates only who qualified in the Written Test will be called for Physical Efficiency Test (PET). In the PET, male candidates should be able to run for a distance of 1500 meters in six minutes in one attempt and female candidates should run for a distance of 400 meters in three minutes in one attempt.
Medical examination and document verification
Candidates qualified in written exam and PET round will be called for document verification. They need to undergo medical tests as well. Candidates will be called for document verification based on their merit in the written exam. They need to submit their original certificates for document verification.
Final selection
The final selection of the candidates will be purely based on the merit shown by the candidates in the written exam.
