The exam is conducted in 3 phases :
- Preliminary examination

Eligibility criteria :
Age of applicants should not be below 21 years and not above 30 years as on 1st April 2019.
Education qualification as on 31st August 2019: Graduation in any discipline from recognized University or any equivalent qualification recognized by the Central Government.
Those who are in final year/ semester of their graduation may also apply provisionally subject to the condition that, if called for an interview, they will have to produce proof of having passed the graduation examination on or before 31st August 2019.

State Bank of India (SBI) conducts the National level Recruitment exam for the appointment of Probationary officer (PO). The written examination will be held in two stages that is a preliminary exam and main exam. Eligibility Criteria – Candidate must know Eligibility criteria before applying for the post. Candidates are required to fulfill the minimum eligibility criteria to appear in the SBI PO examination. The Eligibility criteria for SBI PO Recruitment 2018 includes the following-
Educational Qualification – Candidate must have a bachelor’s degree in any discipline from a recognized university or equivalent. Those candidates who are in a final year or final semester can also apply for this post.

SBI PO 2018 Exam Pattern
The preliminary exam is an objective type exam that is held for 100 marks in online. The exam duration is one hour and consists of 3 sections – English, Quantitative Aptitude and Reasoning Ability.
The mains exam consists of objective test and descriptive test. The objective test will be held for 200 marks and descriptive test for 50 marks.
The aggregate marks from both objective and descriptive tests will be considered to shortlist for a next round.

SBI Probationary Officer Recruitment 2017
SBI has issued a much-anticipated notification to recruit Probationary Officers. It is going to conduct recruitment exams to shortlist the merit candidates for the post of PO. All the interested candidates are advised to quicken up and apply for the post on or before the last date. The applications won’t be accepted by the authority after the last date. The preliminary exam of SBI PO 2017 is scheduled to be held on April 29 and 30 and May 6 and 7. Eligibility Criteria for SBI PO Recruitment 2017
Applicants who wish to apply for SBI PO post should fulfill the criteria set by the authority like nationality, educational qualification, and age limit. Applicants should be citizens of India to apply for SBI PO post. Applicants should be graduates in any discipline from any approved university or institute or any equivalent qualification recognized by central government.
