Eligibility Criteria for B.Ed. Admission 2017

Here are the details about the eligibility criteria for all the candidates who are looking to apply for Tamil Nadu Open University B.Ed. Admission 2017.

• All the applicants must have passed the UG degree examination in the 10+2+3 stream or 11+1+3.
• The candidates who have direct UG Degree without +2 qualifications or any other post-graduate degree without a UG degree are not eligible.
• The Applicants qualified in PG Degree with 50 percent of marks will be eligible to apply.

The Applicants who have the degrees mentioned below are also eligible:

• Under Graduation Degree in (Tamil, English, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, Botany, Zoology, History, Geography, Computer Science, Applied Mathematics, Applied Physics, Geo-Physics, Bio-Physics, Electronics, Bio-Chemistry, Bio-Technology, Environmental Science, Micro-Biology, Information Technology, Computer Application).
• Post-Graduation Degree in (Economics, Commerce, Home Science, Political Sciences, Sociology, Psychology, Philosophy, Logic and Indian Culture with 50 percent of marks (irrespective of their UG marks)

Duration of the Program:B.Ed. SE Programme (Distance Mode) is 2 years.

The medium of Instruction: The medium of instruction for B.Ed. SE (Distance Mode) is Tamil and English.

Total No. of Seats Available: In B.Ed. SE, the total strength of seats for admission is 500.

Programme Fee

The total Program fee is Rs.32, 000/- for two years.

• Postal Fee: Rs.200
• Tuition Fee: Rs.5300
• Practical Fee: Rs.5000
• Total Fee: Rs.16, 000

Admission Procedure

The process of selection for admission into B.Ed. SE and allotment of Study Centres depend on the marks obtained by the candidate in their Under Graduate Degree program, and other preference criteria via Admission Counselling mentioned in List.
