Telangana State Police Department

Telangana TS Police Exam Pattern

Candidates will be selected based on the three rounds. The job aspirants those have cleared the below three rounds only are eligible for the posts of SI. They are three phases.

• Prelims/Preliminary Examination Test
• Written Examination (Mains)
• Physical Fitness Test(FIT)

Written Test Examination consists of the following features

• The Examination is for total of 200 marks.
• There will be 200 questions from different topics.
• The examination is of Objective type questions that is Multiple Choice Questions.
• The Questions will be form Intermediate standard.

Telangana TS SI Exam Syllabus Details

The total number of papers present in this TS SI examination is four. There are Paper 1 is for English language, Paper 2 is for Telugu Language, Paper 3 is for Mental Ability and Paper 4 is for General Science (GS).

Paper-I is for English Language

The standard of English language in the question appear will be based on Graduation or Degree level. Candidates those are wishing to write the examination will be checked their skills in the various topics like Letters, Report writing or Paragraph writing, Analogies, Correcting sentence, Comprehension Passage, finding out the odds one’s. Etc. From this all above topics the questions will be covered.

Paper II is for Telugu

The standard of Telugu language in the question appear will be Checked. As our mother tongue is Telugu, everyone will be perfect in this subject. Candidates those are wishing to write the examination will be checked their skills in the various topics. The candidates have to translate the sentence from Telugu to English language. This paper will also be based on the graduation level so that the candidate will be estimated at his standard.

Paper III is for Mental Ability (Arithmetic and Reasoning)

TS Police Paper 3 will be for Arithmetic and Reasoning questions only. The standard of the questions will be based on the 10th Standard level. So, the candidates can check the all the basics from Primary to 10th standard.

Paper IV is for General Science

The applied candidates must have to focus mainly on this paper. The questions will be asked from General Science, Current Affairs of India and International, Indian Geography, Indian History, Indian Politics and Economy and Telangana History. Questions are asked based on these topics only.

Physical Test Examination consists of the following features
